“Warmer summers on way ... as solar cycle 24 approaches peak”.
Why would Chris Christie be smiling? He pulled NJ out of cap and trade.
As I understood him from a recent statement, he does believe in mad made global warming. He just didn’t like the way RGGI was structured. I couldn’t find the quote I was thinking of (made a day or two after Romney said he was a global warming believer), but I did find this from last September.

His conclusion was good, even if for the wrong reason. But, take note he didn’t deny his belief in global warming.
***Global Warming must be the cause. Did we not have heatwaves 20 years ago?? ***
If one looks it up on the internet you will find lots of heat waves from the 1888 one through today. The 1930s were an especially hot time with temps around 115 in Oklahoma.

New York heat waves...1879, 1882, 1883, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1895, 1896(the really bad one!), 1900, 1936, 1937, 1972.
Chicago... 1892
And others...newspaper headliines of the time. (Monday Aug 2, 1892)
“THE INTENSE HEAT IN NEW YORK. GEEAT MORTALITY. HUNDREDS OF DEATHS FROM SUNSTROKE. HORSES DROPPING DEAD IN THE STREETS. TEAMS STOPPED RUNNING.

In my own lifetime I rememer heat waves in 1962, 1963, 1965, 1968, 1972, 1981, 1982. ALL BEFORE GLO-BULL WARMING!

I did a search on “Colin Ricketts”, and the good news is, web search results in hits, news search results in no hits. This means the left wing shills at Google don’t regard EarthTimes as a news source. That’s a refreshing piece of, uh, news.
No, it was global cooling causing the hot summers, just as now global warming is causing our record low-temp, longer winters.
Or so the warmist wackos preach.
Headline always is back in Northern hemisphere summer.
Good thing there is also a Southern hemisphere, where I'm right now. Though, past several yrs, people have been "worrying" why it doesn't snow in middle of winter in Brisbane, QLD, Australia!
Hottest Summer (lower 48 sates) in the last 110 years was 1936 which was 2.54F above the 20th century average.
Hmmmnnn... Weren't the 'rats running things in 1936? Seems to me that the cause of "Glowbull Warming" is Keynesian economics. :-)
Winters are milder than they were 50 years ago, in places like NJ, Iowa and mid-Atlantic states where I have lived. Last summer was record heat for mid-Atlantic area, and we have just had the earliest over 100 degree days in a century.
No snow? Wow, that’s a terrible problem to have. ;’)
