I heard Rush say this today—but YESTERDAY on a Weiner thread, I said I hoped he didn’t resign because it would be more fun watching him, like Tiger Woods, try vainly to recapture even HALF the ground he’s lost through his dishonesty and stupidity. For someone like Anthony Weiner that’s a good thing, a very good thing. I predicted the ‘new’ Anthony Weiner would have to be lots more sedate, quieter and sober. Those are qualities that do NOT suit him.
The chorus of voices from the Dems are a bit conflicted and tentative-—’strong’ statements but when you look at them closer, they’re not exactly demanding he resign either-—Harry Reid ‘can’t defend’ him, Pelosi calls for an ‘ethics’
investigation’,etc. EVERY SINGLE News break on NY area radio today LED OFF with Weiner updates, giving the impression of a drumbeat chorus that keeps getting louder.
Unless Weiner himself resigns of his own accord, with a new job offer as spokesman for a new soft-core porn version of
Twitter, it’s going to look like he’s resigning because RNC head Priebus demanded it. Li’l Anthony’s between a rock

Huma’s marriage to Weiner is proof that Hillary is not light in the loafers. Weiner’s job was to play a good husband for the media. In exchange, he would get the political blessing of the Clinton machine.
