I figured as much. After I posted.
It’s been a very long month so far. lol
It’ll be good to see ya’ll tomorrow.
I plan to leave here at 0800, should be there by 0900.
Now if I could only find the apple cobbler filling. Otherwise, we’ll have peach cobbler for dessert.
Yep, just something to keep me from looking like “Pig Pen” at the end of the day tomorrow...
Gracias...
Thanks MR frog, I was probably one page from finding that when I give up :-)
P.E. I should have a goodie for your wheels, us old fOXHOLE folks have to stick together:-)
Speaking of old FOXHOLE folks, do you remember Lee Heggy?
He did Civil War re-enacting, he passed on last month as the result of a fall. Will fill you in tomorrow.

Texas Cowboy...of course!
I do remember him. Darn shame.
Ensconced in my hotel, eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s doings.
At LQ in Seagoville.
But meanwhile, there’s jobs to be searched for. :(
Hopefully, with multiple links to the directions, I can find the Cotton Gin this time. (But I could not find the key to my gun cabinet, so I’ve had to make do with what was not in it. M1 Carbine, my Witness .45, and my new KelTec 9mm. Most of the Carbine and .45 ammo had already been moved to our “other” house, so staged through Sherman last night. Traffic was FReaking unbelievable on Central Expressway. Took wife to Backyard Burgher at Royal. Both agreed it was not worth the traffic fight, although the burghers were good. She has to be in Corpus on Sunday, so is staging through our Killeen house tonight. (The story of our lives lately, at least we were both there for one night, and had breakfast together)
I took Royal East to LBJ, she took Royal west to the Dallas Tollway. She said the traffic on 35 was nasty too at least as far as US67. Don’t have a clue why.
I’ve also got a couple of wheel guns. S&W Mod 25 (.45 Colt) and Dan Wesson in .357. No ammo for the DW though.
Bring that Saiga shotgun, I have the shells. I have a new toy. It is a 50 year anniversary edition REMINGTON 300 WIN MAG.
This year I am thinking about Brisket Chicken, Beans and Rice. If others can bring some side dishes it makes it a lot easier for me. About a week before the shoot I will need an approximate head count. At the last shoot I ran out of Brisket and was a little embarrassed about it.
I am looking forward to seeing the gang this fall.
Charlie, I will bring the saiga and I am sure we can lighted your load with some side dishes.
The new planning thread is here.

I have changed my Alaska trip, looks like I will be able to attend.
I guess all the cabins are gone.
