Hey, Palin was focusing on “warning the British” because that’s what she and the Tea Party are doing: they warning the establishment that they’ve rallied the patriots and that they (the establishment) had better get with the program demanded by the people. It’s a subtle point because who knows that, in addition to rallying the patriots, Revere, when caught by the British, told them that they had better watch out. I, myself, didn’t know it before this item.
Most of the American people if they have even heard of Paul Revere, only know the poem which is without question historically inaccurate.
And now, when Sarah educates the American people about the real facts of Paul Revere that he rang bells and fired off warning shots to warn the colonists of British advance.
