I suppose he ‘appears’ conservative for MA standards. So did Scott Brown. In our neck of the woods they’d be a hold your nose candidate. Christy will be the WORST GOP nomination, other than perhaps Rudy, if he got in. Worse than McCain. He’s right up there with Romney. MA thinks anyone with a “R” behind their name is an ultra right-wing conservative. Us here in flyover country just LOL.

What I don’t get is why Ann Coulter is so hot for him.

As in the case of McCain there were few options, this time I count at least two maybe three that I trust: Palin, Cain, and Bachman. But now the question might be: Will they cancel each other out?

(West isn’t going to run, but if he did...)

“Worse than McCain.”

You just lost all credibility when you wrote that.

He is taking on the unions, but evaluate the rest of his history. Like guns? He doesn’t. Like deportation of illegals, He doesn’t. Just because he talks big on unions doesn’t make him conservative. Research his record. He has ONE issue conservatives agree on, unions. And, he isn’t afraid to take it to them on this ONE issue. The rest is all squishy. Please, look into this guy. He’s not what conservatives are looking for.

What are you talking about?? The NY Slimes reports that “Christie Pulls New Jersey From 10-State Climate Initiative.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/27/nyregion/christie-pulls-nj-from-greenhouse-gas-coalition.html?_r=1

That doesn’t sound like he is going warmist!

I have not looked at him that closely on non-fiscal issues since he is not running, but I would not call him a RINO as far as fiscal conservatism is concerned. He is cutting the size of government and he is taking on the unions. If that is a RINO, I will take that kind of RINO every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I don't buy the article that is attached. I looked at it and there is not much in it to support his argument. He is going to have to do better than that to show he believes in global warming.

As far as guns, I would not be surprised if he is anti-gun, and that could be a deal killer for me. However, my number 1 issue is fiscal conservatism—smaller government and lower taxes, and he is solid on that as far as I can see.

He’s going to throw conservatives under the bus. Research him. His big mouth on fiscal issues (unions) is clouding his record. Please, research him. He is not conservative. Even though he’s said he’s not running, look at 4 or 8 years later.

I will research him more before I make and decisions. You can count on that. Until he runs, it is probably all a moot point.

The only thing worth mentioning about the fat RINO is his Youtube battles with union teachers. Other than that, he’s a repulsive RINO clown.

Thanks! You really need to research this guy, he’s all bluster on one issue. Our problems are deeper than just the unions. I applaud him for this stance, but the rest of it is garbage. He’s not our ‘magic pill’.

Just another point to consider. Why hasn’t NJ joined the states lawsuit against Obamacare? Our new gov, first day in office, told our AG to join the lawsuit. We are #26. More than half the states are in this lawsuit. Why is Christy holding out?

Thanks for the links! Unless you’ve had them bookmarked, you had to dig them up. I know I can’t bookmark everything, so thanks again.
