Well, the great majority of Americans don’t care a hoot about Mormon dogma and don’t know a thing about it, and will just read it as some fun sci-fi. I am a Southern Baptist and went over it with a fine tooth comb, and found no hypnotical mormonism in it. And I took that into account as I knew the author was a mormon. I didn’t see any magic underwear or buying your way into heaven with cash at all.

Author herself states - “Unconsciously, I put a lot of my basic beliefs into the story.”

Well, the great majority of Americans; who drooled over Oprah, don’t care a hoot about ANY dogma and don’t know a thing about it...

but they got large doses of error over 25 years and it has colored their thinking.
