No. The simple fact is that more damage is being done to this country by the militarization of law enforcement and the accompanying damage to Constitutional rights than by drugs. IOW, the cure is worse than the disease.
Personal note...the only "drug" I've ever used (other than prescription) was tobacco, and I quit that fifteen years ago.

Drugs were legal in America until the early 1900s and the nation prospered regardless;but the statists wanted more control so instituted income tax with with-holding,weakened states by moving to the "popular" election of Senators,got the U.S. involved in a European war we had no business joining in 1917,and also made alcohol illegal thus setting up conditions for the creation of powerful gangs ,bribery on a massive scale and murderous fights over territory.
