SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Students at a California high school have been suspended for suspected scrawling of racist graffiti and joining together in a white supremacy gesture while the senior class picture was being taken, school officials said Friday.
Soquel High School administrators decided late Wednesday to suspend about five students and ban them from the prom, Santa Cruz City Schools Superintendent Gary Bloom said.

The white shirt routine was a satirical commentary on those who throw around phony charges of racism. Liberals, having been born without the sense of humor gene, chose to take it literally. Essentially, they threw around phony charges, the kids responded, and they cited that as proof their phony charges were true. Pretty common these days.
How can you tell if someone is racist?
They are white.

Their offense was wearing white t-shirts and white bandannas, and one of them was Japanese. And the justification was intimidation - intimidation is drive-by shootings associated with a colored bandanna, not mouthy kids posing in their class photo in one.

“Kill the white people” by Eddie Murphy is probably required listening. Teens acting like idiots is nothing new.
But if these students really want to have some fun with this, they should pretend to be gay and that the school suspended them from the prom for wanting to bring same-sex dates.
Gee wiz Batman..... I wonder where all of the racial tension for the last few years came from?
Where did all of the racial division and divisiveness originate?
If the actions of these kids were meant to be racist, what example and what leader(s) were these kids trying to emulate?
If you call a person or group of people racists long enough, day in and day out, just what is it you think you will eventually have?
The kids are the wrong color to protest.
Whites have no rights.
It happened in San Francisco ... no need to say more.
Some parent needs to sue and make a HUGE stink out of this. Could carry it in the news for nine to eighteen months if done correctly.
Even bump Hollyweird off the front pages in the CA newspapers and force the Administration to continue their hoof-in-mouth routine.
Actually, it happened in the Santa Cruz area, more than 60 miles away. You've got mainly white kids and latino kids. Income of the whites is much higher than the latinos. So there is some friction, I guess. My younger daughter lived there for 4 years while attending UCSC. She hung out with Hillel Jewish kids, and had no racial problems there from others that I could see.
