Funny how a blunder by the Tuscon Police suddenly spins into the Arizona Police. That tag of deflection is no accident.
It doesn’t mean that the Tucson cops screwed up any less, but it gives the media a chance to help the unwary blame a state for a single agency.
It is to increase confusion and obfuscation. It also may be used to say they (SWAT F**KS) can’t get a fair trial in all of Arizona if it comes down to that.
Your point is valid, but this didn’t happen in a vacuum... sadly it happens far too many times all across this country.
Infact were we not discussing a questionable shooting in Las vegas by LVPD not too long ago, where the gunned down a West Point Graduate who was shopping in COSTCO?
If I posted every single story I found of a cop being arrested or sued for this or that... that’s all FR would be, bad cop stories...

It wasn’t Tucson cops, btw. The SWAT team is made up of officers from Pima County—Marana, Sahuarita, Oro Valley, and I don’t know where else. This was the Pima County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team. They are not the same as Tucson city police.
It’s not the “Tucson Police” either. It was Pima County Sheriff’s Department. Who, you may ask, is the Sheriff of Pima County? Why, it’s a very verbose character named Dupnik. Make more sense now? The same guy who immediately blamed the Tea Party for a Commie kid shooting a Congresswoman in the face. The same guy who protected the commie kid from the consequences of being a nutcase for years because his (the kid’s) Mommy worked for the County.
Same guy. Dupnik. The sound of his name is an obscenity.
Agreed. These weren’t Arizona police but it serves the radical left agenda to misidentify the actors.
To continue, these were Democrat controlled Pima County law enforcement, a leftist island in a red state.
