The demagoguery of Paul Ryan by the media continues.
On Friday, the New York Times' resident Nobel laureate Paul Krugman called the Wisconsin Congressman a liar and a sore loser:
~snip~
If anyone is lying here, its Mr. Ryan himself, who has claimed that his plan would give seniors the same kind of coverage that members of Congress receive an assertion that is completely false.
And, by the way, the claim that the plan would keep Medicare as we know it intact for Americans currently 55 or older is highly dubious. True, thats what the plan promises, but if you think about the political dynamics that would emerge once Americans born a year or two too late realize how much better a deal slightly older Americans are getting, you realize that this is a promise unlikely to be fulfilled.
~snip~
Well, here's what's not "highly dubious" and what shameless shills like Krugman are intentionally hiding from the American people: the Medicare Trustees exactly two weeks ago gave the program in its current form thirteen years until it goes bankrupt.
~snip~
The first is the one being offered by the President, his Party, and shills like Krugman throughout the media: Medicare stays in its present form without any alterations whatsoever and in roughly thirteen years goes bankrupt forcing every senior citizen except for those that qualify for Medicaid to pay 100 percent of their health insurance and/or medical expenses. This would be true for today's seniors as well as folks currently under the age of 55.
The second is Ryan's plan whereby everyone 55 and over continues to receive Medicare benefits ...

A little of the civility that Liberals have so much of.
Well, that’s pretty CIVIL of Mr. Krugman.
Quite nobel of him to resort to name-calling.
Hey Krugman!
Obama is the liar and you’re too ignorant to know the difference, so you’re excused.
There's the problem with Krugman. He loves Barry and the liberal left. Spreading the Obama Tingle is his job.
“Krugman Calls Congressman Ryan a Liar and a Sore Loser”
And I call Krugman “Ferret face” (with no disrespect to ferrets).
This is a great sign!
Has Krugman ever been right about anything??
Isn’t Krugman the bold faced liar who blamed Palin immediately after the Tuscon shootings? Such irresponsible blatant lying....New York Times, are you listening? Why do you employ such an untrustworthy biased lying moron? Because, without trust, there is no credibility. And, without credibility, you are pretty much useless as a news organization, aren’t you?
Tell us, oh formerly great NYT...do you WANT to fail? Have you earned your title of “fishwrap of record”???
Krugman needs to go get a room along with Dingy Hairy.
Krugman admits he’s a communist
Paul Krugman, a professor at Princeton University, was on Bloomberg this weekend and he said he was a “card-carrying communist.” He also said that he believes in redistribution of wealth in America. So he wants to take some of your money and give it to those less fortunate. Against your will, of course.
So if you read some of his op-eds every once in awhile as they are picked up by newspapers around the country (including the Houston Chronicle), be careful as to what you buy into. He loves communism and socialism, obviously, and he wouldn’t mind using force against you to obtain some of your hard-earned money and distributing it to someone else.

BOR said "Okay, a quasi-socialist". Krugman retorted "Then you're
a quasi-murderer."
Krugman made no sense with that statement in that context. Must
be a condition of leftist economists. JK Galbraith did a similar
thing in a debate about Reagan's economic initiatives. JKG
started rambling about nuclear weapons.
You cannot BUY better credentials, then to have Paul Krugman (Lunatic-NY) call you a liar.
A liberal losing on the facts and losing decorum. Not very classy for an author.
Most people like Krugman have no common sence..

I liked Krugman when he played in the odd couple on tv. Ever since then he has changed
