They said what about the Gang of 14 agreement of 2005, in which filibuster of judges was to be a very rare occurence?
Rachel Maddow even said that Republicans had promised never to filibuster judicial nominees. So she was p**ed off.
But these liberals ignore the attempted filibuster of Judge Alito. If I recall correctly, Senator Obama voted for the Alito filibuster.
Judicial filibusters are a classic issue in which the liberals show great hypocrisy. They freely filibustered many of Bush’s nominees, which is what led to that Gang of 14 agreement years ago. They accuse Republicans of destroying the nomination process, for doing what Democrats do.
Of course, the liberals in the MSM only see evil in Republican filibusters, not Democrat ones.
After Kennedy/Bork the rats have no standing on this issue
