None if the U.S. MSM could come up with such a list of questions, let alone provide any answers to them.

Members of our elite media are lucky if they can spell their own names without cheating and looking at their name badges.

These folks could challenge a box of rocks for the “brilliance in journalism” title. The box of rocks will win 99 of 100 times.

When Mark Twain visited the area known as Palestine in the late 1800's, he described a barren, desolate land with few people. Until the Jews began re-settling in their native homeland in large numbers, the area was almost a total negative. The Jews made the land habitable again after centuries of neglect. Even though not all Jews had left the area, the infusion of Jews from other lands made it what it is today. If all the Jews/Israelis left, the land would probably revert back to what Twain had described as being.

If any other group of people other than Jews, had undergone the same kind of tragedy as the Jews, the world would have looked at the resettling and creation of a nation out of their homeland with great approval. But since, in much of the world's view, they are filthy, stinking Jews, things are different. I can see no other reason than anti-Semitism behind all the hatred directed at the Israelis.

“Palestine” was a political construct of the British, in the late 19th or early 20th century.

Actually the name palestine came into being when the Romans renamed Israel Palestine as punishment for their revolts.

The name might have been used, but it was never considered a ‘country’, because it was all of a piece with the Roman Empire.

True enough, that was the first time the name was used.

As far as the “country” of Palestine there has never been one in history.

so we are agreed.
