That’s what I was asking. Looking at the OAS charter, I don’t see anything that Honduras absolutely needs, or couldn’t otherwise wait it out until Obambi leaves office.

“Hugo Chavez’s handprints are all over this deal,”
..........................................................
You mean the same Chavez that is going to allow Iranian missiles to be placed in his country?

The same fist bumping pal of Obama’s?

Socialist Third World Avenger

I haven't got time for the whole story, and neither does anyone else. Let's turn "Dreams of my Father" into a comic book for the next election. In Arabic, Ebonics, and Español.
On the bright side, I reckon a Trotsky-ite like our POTUS and his pals are "better" than hard-line Stalinists ... like the Kagan Family that spawned our latest SCOTUS selection.

It’s not just him. Hillary and the State Department are complicit as well.

"Hillary and the State Department are complicit as well."

That is because the State Dept sees it as a socialist versus populist issue and not a socialist versus capitalist issue.

Zalaya was a true modern day socialist and oligarch and a strong supporter of a world capital market economy who recognized a strong and growing wave of populism opposed to the market economy. Zalaya tried to ride that populistic wave into permanent power the same way Chavez rode it.

In Latin America there are populists masquerading as socialists just like there are populists masquerading as capitalists in the US.

Personally, I hope Zelaya is prosecuted for his previous criminal actions. He was charged with 18 criminal acts including treason and failing to implement more than 80 laws approved by Congress after taking office in 2006. It needs to be followed up.

They don’t want to make a martyr out of him.

Clinton, by contrast, said on Monday that the U.S. “commends” the Chavez regime for its role in securing the agreement.

Which tells every thinking person all they need to know about Clinton and 0baMao. Hard core communists whose main priority in power is to destroy representative governance throughout the world.

When we first read of this yesterday here at FR my wife and myself commented that it appeared to have the handprints of Obama, and Hillary all over it.

I saw your comment and knew that you were right on the money. Do we really need criminal court level evidence to know that it is true? We have reams of statements from Hillary, her State Dept and 0baMao all through the crisis in Honduras that show no other stance than the subversion of the truth towards the end of destruction of the constitutional rule of law in Honduras. Their aims were crystal clear.

Well, maybe Arabic and Ebonics, but he hates Spanish-speakers except those stamped with the approval of the Democrats (that is, the welfare populations of certain Southwest cities).

Hispanics who work - and Latin Americans are very entrepreneurial - are on the Obama hit-list. I think he’s going to make a pitch for them but many studies indicate that he has already lost them. So we shall see.

The only people he likes are the totally dependent, and Hispanics are not dependent. African Americans are largely dependent, and Muslims, particularly African Muslims, are the primo immigrant welfare queen group now so I guess we know who he’s going to cultivate. Numerically, there may not be a lot of them, but I think he’s hoping that attracting them will also get the white liberal vote the way it did in 2008.

That said, I think Bambi is worse than the more traditional Stalinists because at least they were overt about it. He denies it and nobody challenges him on it, so he can simply go ahead and wreak havoc.

I hate him. He’s evil.
