If this story is true, They can always live like Snowbirds half in Alaska and half in Arizona. It is kind of neat that both states begin and end with A’s.

there’s a lot of similarities between ak and az. we visited ak a few years ago and loved it. almost pulled the trigger on a move there, but didn’t. circumstances forced us to stay in az. i think the extremes weather wise make the states mutually attractive. there’s a lot of similarity in terms of attitudes and mindsets, least in the segment of the population not from ca.
