I guess the first ‘12 GOP Presidential debate in SC doesn’t matter as much, now that this debate is, also, planned.

Good grief. Why even bother running, why don't they all just throw their support to Obama and quit pretending to care. Sheesh.

What is the SLRC? The last para also says that the “State GOP” will also hold a debate, though not when.. I thought that Preibus and the RNC was trying to get a handle on all these debates...

The Southern Republican Leadership Conference is teaming up with CNN...

WHY?!?!

An argument can be made to have partnerships with networks for the general election debates between both parties, but this is the Republican Party primaries, and the CNN agenda is not shared by conservative voters. CNN is out to embarrass conservatives so we will end up with another McCain.

Republicans need to supply conservative moderators who will ask pertinent questions, and if C-SPAN is the only network to cover it, so be it. It would be downloadable, and available to networks who wanted to re-run it.

Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer shouldn't have a hand in selecting Republican presidential candidates.

He probably is, but this is not a SC GOP event, so he has no way to force them not to have it. It is an independent group who needs to get a bunch of calls and emails saying SCREW CNN.

If our “party” had ANY balls, we would INSIST that our debates ONLY be moderated by conservatives. I mean, the Dems do not do debates moderated by Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh, so why should ours be moderated by the most liberal people on TV???? INSANE. SOMEBODY TAKE CHARGE FOR ONCE.
