My daughter was an undergrad at Northwestern University back in the nineties. As part of a particular course requirement she, though a conservative, and others were required to spent time helping in a Schakowsky political campaign. I had never heard of Schakowsky at the time but I remember my daughter telling me how incredibly dumb the woman was.
Axelrod and and Emanuel were also infesting Northwestern at the time, lecturing.
Schakowsky's husband, Robert Creamer, wrote an extensive book that blueprinted the takeover of health-care to while away the time during a stretch in the slammer.
I think she’s great!!! This is exactly what we need to keep in place for comedic relief...Everytime she utters something like this people need to laugh her off the podium and out the door...
Not sure if there is anyone with the guts to do that in her district, but it sure would be a hoot...

It is stories like this which only strengthens my position that there is little hope. If we truly had a Republican Congress ,THEY WOULD REMOVE HER FROM THE HOUSE POST HASTE. Until we start purging these people from the system using means other than the ballot box, we might have a chance. Remember CONGRESS can have any MEMBER REMOVED FROM OFFICE and EXPELLED FROM THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES with a SIMPLE MAJORITY VOTE..
