The Sofitel is owned by a French company, and in my experience, most big French company exec’s aren’t socialists and would love to see this guy swing. I would expect them to fully cooperate and I’m sure their security tapes will kill his story.
Most of the people appointed to IMF and World Bank are corrupt crooks nominated by socialist foreign governments.
The US staff and Professionals are held to a higher standard,,but then look at tax dodging Geithner..so even the US citizens are suspect.
Cyrus Vance Jr. is the NY DA. His Dad was Secy of State for Carter. It will be ironic to find him earning his own reputation prosecuting a French Socialist.
Sorry, I don't buy this. ALL people appointed to the IMF and World Bank are crooks, but it is the US as the main contributor that is the deciding factor in all appointments. So you need to blame our politicians for this mess. As you can see, they appointed a socialist. They (by "they," I mean Bush and the other Karl Rove Republicans) do not stand for you and me.
