But will Hannity - who has just about had a “liquid tingle” up his leg every time Newt is on, hoping to goad him into making a big announcement — realize it anytime soon? Or will Hannity be the last to figure it out?

I’ve been defending and promoting Newt here on FR for some time now.

Having heard him turn on Paul Ryan and then defend mandatory compliance, that ends today!

He tried to jump the shark, but landed short and the shark ate him.

How much you wanna bet the Newt will be on Hannity’s radio show this evening trying to backtrack?

Even more depressing to me was hearing him “promise” to make the Federal Government more efficient. And to assemble really smart experts to solve our problems.

He is a true believer in government’s ability to fix everything.

He sounds like Trump. Since they are both oppportunistic ego-whores, I guess it makes sense.

Actually, I think Hannity will have him on like nothing really happened, and maybe ask him a gentle question or two about it. I don’t think Hannity will grasp that Newt just destroyed his own campaign with two stupid quotes in a 24 hour period. (not that it was going anywhere anyway).

I held a bivalent but mostly favorable attitude toward Newt. But his run now approaches the despicable.

Pat Buchanan is far to your own Left. Scarborough is another Leftwingtard.

Why do you listen to what they say about guys on our side?

Reagan's 11th Commandment comes in to play here, but with a footnote, to wit: "DON'T REPEAT LEFTWINGTARD BS". It's just not right. If I wanted to watch MSNBC I'd do so. I don't come here to have their prattle coughed up time after time after time ~ IGNORE THOSE PEOPLE. They have no audience. They hate us. They'd eat your babies for dinner if they could.

Newt is to the left of Ron Paul, which make him more a conservative Democrat.

You wouldn't have heard any of that (unscripted not well thought out prattle) if a Leftwinger hadn't shifted the discussion to THEIR TALKING POINTS.

No, what you must do is QUIT WATCHING LEFTWINGTARDS. If you want to know a politicians position see what he writes ~ not what he blurts out in a TV interview.

If your politician can't write, forget about it.

They're dropping like flies. Huckabee bows out. Romney shoots himself in the right foot, after shooting himself in the left foot with his defense of Obama -, oops, RomneyCare. Now, Newt is chasing after the mirage of "moderate" voters by dissing Ryan's budget.

Now, I believe most Republican voters, once educated on the Ryan Budget, would consider it weak, too slow and lacking in the urgency that we know is needed.

Where are the Republican voters who think the Ryan Budget goes too far? The only other guy I've heard say this is the Democrat -, oops, Republican Donald Trump.

Is Newt going after the Trump vote? There are no principles involved here, just political calculation.

Huck is gone, Romney is toast and Newt just committed Hari Kari. And these guys think they're the smartest people in the room. What room is that?

Do you regularly spend your day sitting there watching Leftwingtard TV?
