I think Romney is thinking he can ‘trianglulate’ his way out of this- thinking the majority is in the middle on health care.
Unless he’s positioning himself to run as a 3rd party candidate after losing the R nomination to an “extremist” I don’t get the point of destroying your candidacy this early.
