England has no right to own guns. Even their Olympic team has to practice in another country.
They have no rights to free speech.
they live under a surveilance state that the Gestapo never dreamed of achieving.
They deny Mike Savage entry into the country to participate in a debate at Oxford. (he has said insensitive things about Muslims.)
They have no Constitution.
As a nation and government, they have not offended us as required to become an enemy,,, but we need to move away from regarding them as anything similar to us.

We Englishmen are Very Proud of our Constitution, Sir,” Mr. Podsnap explained with a sense of meritorious proprietorship: “It was Bestowed Upon Us By Providence. No Other Country is so Favoured as This Country ...”

Only handguns are banned in Britain, as are semi-assault rifles. Rifles and shotguns are legal, albeit licenced. The British Olympic team trains on the Isle of Man, which is part of Britain. And self-governing. Hence different gun laws.

Britain has free speech, just as you do even although your country has as much PC nonsense as we do.

Britain does have a constitution. Rather more patchwork given the nature of Britain (four nations making up one state), but England has the 1215 Magna Carta, 1679 Habeus Corpus Act and the 1688 Bill of Rights, whilst Scotland has the 1320 Declaration of Arbroath, the 1638 National Covenant and the 1689 Claim of Right (our version of the 1688 English Bill of Rights).
