As someone in S. Utah, I can tell you first hand that we have grown up (adult) Latinos, who are almost certainly illegals, staffing nearly every restaurant (for example) in this town. It’s impossible to go anywhere here in food service, for example, to escape this. Teens here cannot get any jobs at all; they are competing with adults (Hispanic) who will work for below legal wages. Chicago has a massive, massive population of illegals. Probably one of the biggest, percentage-wise of any state not in the southwest.

Yep and I'd strike 'Probably', their numbers are so huge that I'd *almost* be willing to bet the rent on it. The sick part is that Daley overtly aided and abetted the invasion and Rahm will continue with the the same 'hands-off illegals' policy.
Yet the morons in the city council and on the 5th floor of city hall (mayor's offices) wonder in amazement why the tax base has virtually disappeared. As if it has nothing to do with 47% (iirc) of the city's population having a 4th grade education, can't speak English, and are making less than minimum wage -- PLUS, mostly working off the books.
