Heading your way 12 May for colonoscopy at VA hosp.

My great grandmother on my mother’s side was Choctaw.

My great grandmother on my dad’s side was Cherokee.

Will be staying near the airport though we’re driving.

Thanks for the info. My great grandmother hailed from Water Valley, Mississippi (100% Choctaw)...was “relocated” to Indian Territory. My mother was born in Poteau in 1920.

hmmm, my ancestors welcomed the “newcomers” to the west coast, beginning sometime in the late 1500s. Spaniards, I think, then English, then ?
