President Will Arrive in El Paso at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday
EL PASO- The White House has announced the President's itinerary for next week's trip to the Sun City.
The President will arrive at Biggs Airfield on Fort Bliss at approximately 12:45 in the afternoon. From there, it's on to Chamizal National Memorial.
The President will deliver his remarks about immigration in a 1:30 p.m. speech, presumably at the park's small stage.
It's not known yet whether the event will be open to the public.
The President is set to take off from Biggs Airfield aboard Air Force One just before 3 p.m.
It's worth noting that the President rarely arrives and takes off on time. During his last visit in August, he was over a half-an-hour later arriving on post.

I’m slow today. It took me the entire article, which I read with some confusion, to recognize that GWB was not returning to TX from somewhere. I just can’t link a respectable title like “president” and the great state of TX to a communist whiner like Obama. I have never used that title for the druggie, don’t think of him in that way, and can’t imagine him fitting in with decent people in TX.
Yeah, I think that he is also scheduled to visit Austin later. I’d go protest, but it’s not much use in that blue cancer of Texas.
BTW, did you hear anything about the 5 yr old who shot his 3 yr old brother or sister in the stomach yesterday? It was down SE of Austin.

Very interesting. Two years, three months and 20 days in office and now we are getting a big no huge push for comprehensive (amnesty)immigration reform.
Three months and twenty days AFTER losing a huge, unbeatable majority in both the House & Senate, he is now pursuing immigration reform.
My guess is, this will be the new club to beat up on the TeaPartyers. The Republican mainstream will fold like a cheap suit.

I think that Obummer voters were pretty rare in Texas the first time around.In 2012 they are going to be virtually extinct.
We like to think of it that way, but there are more and more libs moving here every day, and our Republican majority in the Texas House is mostly composed of squishy RINOs.
They've got every decent anti-illegal immigration bill locked up in limbo right now, and there seems to be little chance that any of them will get out of committee and to the floor.
If the Dem/RINOs can keep these bills from being voted on, it'll be another two years before we can address the problem again.
