One thing that I have never understood about that argument is that, if you have someone in custody, interrogate them, and they give you false information.... Isn’t the knowledge that you will come back and continue to torture them when their lies are found out enough to ensure you will get good intel? Might not work with everyone, but I would think the fear of being tirtured again would be enough.

I agree %100. The other factor never brought up is that there is not just one guy we are interrogating. We had a bunch of these guys who we would extract info from and compare it to the other info we already had to see if it truthful. There are solid ways to check to see if the info is solid or not. I think that is why the left has never won on this issue with the public. Now the left will have to come up with more lies to keep this up.
