Spirited: I think you have hit the nail squarely on the head. How can a people who no longer believe in the existence of their own spirit/soul accept belief in the existence of a spiritual dimension? By extension, how can a people who believe that evil exists within “social constructs” rather than within themselves believe in the existence of “fallen” spirits?

I’ve been convinced for about 30 years that the “ET” stuff would end up being part of the Biblically warned about
GREAT DECEPTION of the END TIMES.
I’m MORE thoroughly convinced of that now, than ever.
Whether the critters play the role of attackers only
or
saviors of us from ourselves
or one crew of them playing the role of attackers and
different ‘race’ of them playing the role of the good cop—it’s all a sham DECEPTION to enslave to satan further—as many mortals as possible.
To steal as many mortals, God’s favorite Creation—as possible from a Heavenly destiny.
And many mortals are blithely and willfully blindly playing along hook line and sinker.
