Just heard Rush--a caller who professed to be a retired Navy Seal, said special Navy teams were designated assault teams and could only be ordered on a mission by the President or the National Security head.He also said he believed Obama dithered until someone said "You HAVE to do this" --otherwise, it could leak late in the campaign that he had bin Laden and failed to act. I can believe that.
However, pertaining to Hersh--his calling the team that went in "assaulters" went further than calling them by their designation. He did it in a derogatory manner. If he had not meant it in a bad way, he would have simply said the seal team or - correctly - the Navy assault team. He and libs and 99 % Dems are pitiful anymore, and are to be despised and NEVER NEVER believed on face value.

The major newspapers joined the [Bush] team, Hersh said. Top editors passed the message to investigative reporters not to pick holes in what Bush was doing. Violations of the Bill of Rights happened in the plain sight of the public. It was not only tolerated, but Bush was re-elected. This one claim seems to pretty much disqualify Hersh's reliability and accuracy.
