I wouldn't make too big an issue merely about Obama Sr.'s age being two years off on his BC. A father's age on a BC would be obtained simply by asking the mother if the father isn't present at the time of the child's birth. In this case, the mother might not have remembered correctly or remembered an incorrect age that Obama Sr. could easily have told her. That's assuming, of course, that this BC was bona fide and made shortly after Obama II's birth in Hawaii.

It's the father's race, designated as "African," that's much more problematic in analyzing the BC's authenticity or lack thereof. As pointed out previously, the usual bureaucratic racial designation in 1961 pertaining to Obama Sr. would be "Negro" or "colored."

Yep. I knew it when I saw the time of birth, 7:24 pm.

The time of birth is EXACTLY identical to the one on Lucas Smith’s copy of the Obama birth certificate from Coast Hospital, Mombassa, Kenya.

Figure the odds! Someone in the White House is laughing out loud, I’m sure.

Maybe you're assuming too much. We know that Obama Sr. was known for his promiscuity and polygamy. I'm sure he wasn't honest all the time with what he told his multiple women. And SAD, young as she was at the time, probably wasn't interested in investigating his background in any detail. They were just comrades in a common socialist cause.

Even if "Uncle Frank" isn't on the real cert, I have always thought that for someone who supposedly didn't have any responsibility for young Barry, Frank sure assumed a very big fatherly mentor role from age 10-18. Why would he do that, unless, of course, he thought Barry was his son.

The Vattel vs. Blackstone question was settled over a hundred years ago in U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark. Since then, sources on American law have uniformly held that native-born citizens are natural-born citizens, at least for birth after the adoption of the 14'th Amendment.

Obama does not need to re-argue settled matters. No source from his lifetime stated any doubt that native-born citizens are Article II natural-born citizens. Of course that changed in 2008 when Obama because a candidate, and people dug up the long-dead theory just to argue that Obama cannot be president Obama. The one court that directly addressed the question in an Obama eligibility case is the Court of Appeals of Indiana, in Ankeny v. Daniels. A three-judge panel unanimous opined: “Based upon the language of Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are ‘natural born Citizens’ for Article II, Section 1 purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents.”

You are correct. Both parents must already be citizens for the offspring to be natural born.
