CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) -- The president was on his way. Space shuttle Endeavour's astronauts were riding out to the launch pad in a van. And a wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords had flown in from her Houston rehab hospital to watch her husband blast off Friday on the historic, next-to-last shuttle mission.
Then it all came to a sudden stop.
Without warning, a faulty heater part forced NASA to scrub the launch and slam the brakes on the space agency's biggest event in years, a flight made more fascinating to many by the plight of Giffords and her husband, Mark Kelly, the mission commander.
Endeavour's flight was delayed until at least Monday.
"Bummed about the scrub!! But important to make sure everything on shuttle is working properly," Giffords' staff tweeted.

The freaks are demanding an illegal and homo be included as crew members, and all endangered insects be removed from within 10,000 of the pad....Launch delayed.

I doubt I’m the only one that’s glad he didn’t get to see a launch. He only went for a photo op. (Indeed, I know it)
It has crossed my mind that SOmeone at NASA saw to it that there was a “problem”....since King Obomba had the place locked down so no one there could see the lift off....now all those who worked on it can watch without the bother of the King Narcissist/Marxist.
He will be replaced with Gabby Giffords.
I'll bet he's sulking tonight. Not only was the launch going to be a campaign photo op for him - but for the first time, he finally acknowledged a disaster in this county that killed many Americans - even went to 'observe." - Good for campaigning.
But dang - the world was watching a wedding - all day, all night.

Well, think about that. Everything he has touched has turned to crap. I wouldn't want him within 500 miles of a launch if I was going up.

I think the date was chosen when it became clear that the O’s were not getting an invite to the wedding.

Throughout history, despots have risen, created havoc on their fellow man (although I hesitate to call him a ‘fellow’) - and ultimately, meet a fate befitting.
He has not only set about to deliberately dismantle the freest country on earth, and deliberately put millions of people out of work, he has deliberately and with malice aforethought caused the deaths of hundreds of our soldiers with his enemy-advantage ROE - and more coming if he isn't stopped from his intention to put American boots on the ground in Libya.
In Afghanistan, his new ROE,that ties our troops hands behind their backs, gives all the advantage, including the first shot, to the Taliban - that resulted in DOUBLING our soldiers deaths each month - bumped up to the level from the very beginning of the war. This man is directly responsible for hundreds of our troops being killed. (He also handed over some of the most strategic territory, without a fight, to the Taliban - complete with ammo, rockets, missiles, etc - that the Taliban bragged - (and did) they would use to kill our troops.- and now Libya -
