Thanks RobinMasters.
...that the 2012 elections will leave the GOP in control of the presidency, Senate, and House, and tea party activists will oust "timid" Republicans... calls President Barack Obama a "romantic egalitarian" who is "quite confused," asserts that Obamacare is a "monstrosity," and says Rep. Paul Ryan's plan to reduce spending is a "bold initiative" but doesn't go far enough.

I think I was just arguing that someone is going to have to do something to get Ron Paul fans to support their candidate. Many Ron Paul supporters were not particularly skilled at persuasion in 2008, but I’m not sure any of that is relevant.

Ron Paul supporters pissed you off, and the GOP responded in a way that meant that some Ron Paul supporters were not going to vote GOP that fall. The GOP could’ve responded in a way that would get Ron Paul supporters to vote GOP, but chose to alienate them. That’s not on Ron Paul, or Ron Paul’s supporters, that’s on the GOP.

About stacking of online polls, how is that different from everybody here voting for Palin? It really isn’t. They aren’t scientific polls. Every candidate typically does want to do well in any of these things.

Ron Paul isn’t a Libertarian, more a Traditional Conservative, but Libertarians and Traditional Conservatives agree on a lot. So, it’s easy to think that he’s a Libertarian.

I don’t get who you’re talking too there at the end.

I’m trying to argue that if the GOP wants Ron Paul’s people to vote for the GOP nominee in November 2012, they’ll have to treat Ron Paul better this year than then did in 2008.

I’m not trying to argue that Ron Paul’s people, the supporters, shouldn’t act better in 2012 than they did in 2008. I will definitely say that Ron Paul’s people should avoid angering the supporters of other candidates this time around.

Armey: GOP Will Sweep in 2012

Same old sheet...Good cop bad cop....

Like wrestlers choreographing their orchestrated moves as the audiences of fool applauds.

Few see all those in D.C. are riding in the same limo.

You aren’t reading from the context, which makes clear, perhaps not indiscreet animosity, but manifests opposition to Palin being a party leader. Which, is a very real form of “dislike”.

I went back and reread what Armey is reported to have said in Nov. 2009, and I don’t see it like you do.

Perhaps not...but consider this:

Armey said she hasn't shown a commitment to doing the hard work of rehabilitating an image that took a beating during last year's presidential campaign. "So she's kind having to dig herself out of a hole if she wants to regain standing for consideration for a future nomination. And by all accounts, it doesn't appear she's doing a very effective job of digging herself out of that hole," said Armey, R-Texas.

With 'friends' like Dick Armey...with his crocodile tears for Palin...who needs enemies?

It was November 2009. It is over. She is doing what she is doing.

He is done with elected office, and was a prime mover starting the TP movement.
