The RINOS have glommed on to the gas prices. What a joke. Meanwhile the Rats are Squawking about Medicare. No wonder we are in such a mess with the so called leaders unable to communicate about the real problem. Big Government.

“Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,” — Steven Chu, September 2008. Three months later, Barack Obama appointed him Energy Secretary of the United States as one of his first acts as President. Just sayin’...

“Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,”

What's amazing is a large number of the drones who have to pay the prices love hearing it.

We are lost...

The hoax designed to criminalize CO2 is exposed. The last ten years of cooling have invalidated the global warmers. Obama has attempted cap and trade both legislatively and by fiat. Obama has needlessly stopped drilling in the Gulf and elsewhere, and people instinctively know that "we can't drill ourselves out of this mess" is a complete and utter lie.

Yep, this is Obama's hat to wear.

Remember when Bush and Cheney were accused of collusion with Big Oil? baraq uses the BP explosion to cripple the offshore drilling industry and steer that industry to Brazil. Talk about collusion.
But his media still sleeps.

I look for the MSM to begin continuous demonizing of the oil companies, but not a peep about the fact that Hussein's regime will not allow any drilling.

Who the heck cares about some blithering idiot commie like obama?!? He's not even a proper American. This crisis he's stumbled our nation into is crushing real American families and their children.

Why is such a fool tolerated in the White House?!? Wehave been diminished simply by his presence.

There needs to be a concerted effort to CONFRONT him every time he blames gas prices on “speculators” and everyone else but him.

HAMMER him on his “necessairly will skyrocket” quote on energy prices under his policies.

SMASH HIM IN THE MOUTH with how HIS EPA just told Shell Oil “no” on drilling into a 27.5 BILLION barrel reserve off of the coast of Alaska because they failed to take into account the C02 emmissions of a single ice breaker in the environmental impact statement (after they spent $2 billion on the Federal lease and development).

RUB HIS NOSE in how HIS EPA are trying to shut down the two largest active oil fields in Texas over the potential harm to a lizard.

It is Obama - NOT “speculators”. CALL HIM ON HIS LIES EVERYTIME!

Saw on a Chicago news broadcast last evening, it’s $4.69 there. Here, 80 miles West, it’s $3.99. It has curtailed our driving habits big time. Except for work related driving, we don’t go unless we absolutely have to. And we try to tie in those little trips for the grocery, etc. to that work related driving when possible (My wife works close to the grocery and other stores).

Oil vs. the U.S. Dollar. It's Obama's intentional policy: no exploratory drilling, no refinery-building, and devalue the living **** out of the dollar.

I disagree with the notion that high gas prices will be a problem for Bammy’s re-election; what we tend to forget is that his audience is entirely different from the rest of us. They have no real world experience other than that of, either living off and manipulating the system for benefits, (Acorn types and welfare royalty), on the one hand, or of protracted education in Marxist Universities followed by stints of working for the Gov’t, Unions or Global-Marxist non-governmental organizations such as Universities and community organizations. They’re fully prepared to believe the “Big Oil” lie. He should easily spin out of this one.

When priced in Silver, gasoline is getting cheaper.

Obama had a much broader base than that. His base included a large share of the independent vote as well. He's vulnerable; especially on this issue as well as the economy in general. It's these people who are leaving him. Those from his secure base who may be disenchanted may be cause for concern within (a democratic challenger), but that's about it.

Today a 1964 mercury dime will buy you a gallon of gas and a coke. In 1964 a gallon of gas cost two dimes and some pennies.

That's true, but I'm not ready to start paying for unleaded with my Morgan dollars.
