I apologize. The 80% graduating with honors thing might be wrong. It's probably higher.

The distorting effects of grade inflation at Harvard were uncovered earlier this fall by a Boston Globe investigation, which disclosed that an astonishing 91 percent of Harvard graduates received honors last in June.

Student's grades at Harvard University have soared in the last 10 years. According to a report issued Tuesday by the dean of undergraduate education, nearly half of the grades issued last year were A's or A-minuses. In 1985, just a third of the grades were A or A-minus.
