Somehow I doubt she had to drop out of college because she was “too brainy.”

This is where rich people send their dumb children: it is not so
challenging academically, and all it really cares about is money.

Brown has the rep for taking great pains to accept the privileged that
have yet to get their act to together, but come from the
Hollywood elite, in particular.

“Sophisticated wit and cinematic expertise?” Translation, they were being smart asses! So what??!! How is this a big deal and why should this girl be crushed by it? You laugh it off and forget it. The true smack-offs in any of her classes are no doubt, simply jealous...money, fame and looks, after all.

I certainly hope she finds another university where she can be herself without having to put up with selfish bullies.

I apologize. The 80% graduating with honors thing might be wrong. It's probably higher.

The distorting effects of grade inflation at Harvard were uncovered earlier this fall by a Boston Globe investigation, which disclosed that an astonishing 91 percent of Harvard graduates received honors last in June.

Student's grades at Harvard University have soared in the last 10 years. According to a report issued Tuesday by the dean of undergraduate education, nearly half of the grades issued last year were A's or A-minuses. In 1985, just a third of the grades were A or A-minus.

I’m surprised and shocked, though I guess I should not be. Thank you.

You are a classless idiot.
This girls tried to make her way in an institution of higher learning and the snob elitists harassed her out. Unlike most child stars, she went on to make something of herself. I’m sure she has a really good thought about the good old USA too.

All the best Emma.

She’s worth at least $20 million. I’d say the chances of her doing porn are slim and none and slim just left the building.

I agree. She could have gone Lindsey Lohan, but she knew there was more to life than Hollywood and partying.

>>She could have gone Lindsey Lohan, but she knew there was more to life than Hollywood and partying<<

And the big thing is that these movies are current. She is a star RIGHT NOW. She tried to be a normal person, tried to get a degree and a job. As you said, she could have been drugged up and partying. Instead she tried to better herself and have a future.

Thank you for seeing it.

She could have just as well gone the Clare Danes route and attended NYU or Columbia and no one would have battened an eyelash when she was walking around Washington Sq Park or the Columbia Uptown campus.

Those twin sisters from Full House, Mary Kate and Ashley, went to New York University, bought a huge penthouse , and would regularly walk around without security to live their daily life. NO security, no entourage, no heckling by fellow students.

Instead, Emma Watson chose the two bit town of Providence , RI, and the school of fools that is Brown, where the hottest spot on a Friday night is the Bus Stop at the bottom of College Hill, that takes you to Boston or NYC. Because there is absolutely NOTHING TO DO IN PROVIDENCE RI, hence the idle minds of the upper class twits get around to insulting the working woman in their midst.

I attended Brown U for a semester and fled in disgust as a freshman, for all the same reasons most sane people would never apply there.

Emma would be a middle of the road celebrity at NYU,

May I suggest Hillsdale, Emma? I’ve found those students to be pretty classy for the most part. But New York University is not a bad choice either. They are used to celebrities and have a tradition of not harassing them.

They could never have an actual thinking graduate from Brown. Only indoctrinated, affiliated, sausages need apply.

The woman, if she so desires, doesn’t need to work ever again for the rest of her life. Assuming of course, that her parents haven’t squandered and screwed her out of the fruits of her labors.

I’m gonna cut her some slack here. She wanted to go to school to continue her education, and got one; one from the muddled minds of today’s American mush brained liberal youth.

I just read a story saying the stuff about people calling out in class is totally false. She denied it.

I’m not sure why you would make such a nasty comment. By all accounts Emma Watson is a pretty nice kid... Shame on you!!!
