April 23, 2011 (Dover, Delaware) -- Randall Chase, the Associated Press' Delaware Bureau Reporter, embarrassed the Associated Press over the Easter weekend with a negligently false report about Christine O'Donnell's campaign and her campaign finance reports.
Randall Chase falsely reported that in April 2009, Christine O"Donnell was not a declared candidate for office.
In fact, CHRISTINE O'DONNELL DECLARED HERSELF A CANDIDATE FOR THE 2010 ELECTION CYCLE IN DECEMBER 2008
On February 12, 2009, the Delaware Business Ledger reported "O'Donnell wastes no time in announcing Senate candidacy."
On February 13, 2009, radio station WDEL reported "Christine O'Donnell to run for U.S. Senate" on its website and air.
Christine O'Donnell filed her Statement of Candidacy with the FEC on March 20, 2009:
The form is available on the FEC website, and a copy is also posted at:
A Statement of Candidacy only needs to be filed 15 days after a candidate exceeds $5,000 raised or spent.
Christine O'Donnell announced on her website in December 2008 that she was a candidate for the US Senate in 2010.

Since when has the AP ever been embarassed by one of their false reports about Conservatives.
“A.P. Embarrassed” Here’s yet another example of two words that have never before been used in the same sentence.
Oh, by the way, do we have to excerpt this....?
If so, mods, please replace the headline with “A.P. Emb...”
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
There are no "errors".
Apparently they’re only embarrassed if the false report was a mistake.
Libs are NEVER embarassed about ANYTHING! If they get caught at lying, who cares; they just go about their business and do it again.
Remember Chuck U Schumer a few weeks ago, caught slamming the GOP with his microphone on? Fox reported that Schumer made “embarassing comments”, but then he went on and further trashed the Repubs. These people have NO SHAME WHATSOEVER!!!
AP has no shame, no shame whatsoever.
A.P. Embarrassed Heres yet another example of two words that have never before been used in the same sentence
One might find it in the dictionary as an example for the word oxymoron.
I LOVE THIS! “AP = Accuracy Problem.”
OOOPS! Looks like the allegations against Christine O’Donnell were false all along
Check out the complaint to the D.C. Bar against the attorney who brought the allegations against Christine O’Donnell, Melanie Sloan
