Like it or not, Rove was 100% correct about O'Donnell. He wanted a Republican victory and he knew she was the weakest candidate. Sorry, this is a fact.
Trump has given thousands to Democrats--he was trying to buy favor with them. I have no idea but I doubt Rove has ever supported a Democrat financially.
Rove is loyal to the Republican party--Trump is loyal to himself.
Could I live with Trump as president? You betcha--he's still a heck of a lot better than the disaster we have in the WH right now.
Well, I don't want to reargue the past with you but know that we disagree here in that I believe that Rove intentionally undermined O'Donnell and saw to it that she was not elected.
I agree that Trump is better than what we have now, but that is not the choice before us. We have the entire primary season to go through and the chance to pick a strong Conservative who can win. Trump would end up being a Republican like Arnold Schwarzennegger - meaning useles as a conservative.
In fact, I think Trump is in the race to make way for Hillary Clinton since he has already come out specifically for Universal Health Care. That is as un-Conservative as you can get and as pro-Huge Government as you can get. Trump is a progressive like Hillary. They are working together IMO.
But we shall have to wait and see.
Still the voice of reason and common sense, months later.
