Once again, MilitaryCorruption.com has gotten the scoop on a story the Army wants suppressed. We can tell you, dear reader, what Army TIMES cannot - that four Army CID agents were suspended recently at Fort Bragg because of criminal behavior.
All the Army would reveal at press time was the agents were from the drug-crime unit of the Criminal Investigative Division. No details emerged on just what they had done to have to turn in their guns and badges.
The terse press release given out to the mainstream media was very short on specifics.
"KIDNAPPING" AND "DEATH THREAT" GETS CID AGENTS IN TROUBLE
But thanks to our deep-cover CI's on the ground at Bragg and in Fayetteville, we've been told the "rogue" agents kidnapped a civilian male, took him to a remote part of the sprawling base, and threatened to take his life.
The reason for the "bully-boy" tactics, we hear, is the targeted man was suspected or "romancing" one of the agent's wives.
Even if true, no way the CID agents should imitate Mafia thugs and do what we hear they did. The alleged death threat is serious, but if the military investigators actually "snatched" the civilian, that qualifies by definition as "kidnapping," a federal rap, probably the reason the FBI has entered the case.
We have maintained for years that all the military CID, NCIS and OSI gumshoes be given psychological testing to see who is fit to be cops and who should be booted out of the service.
It's a safe bet, if our sources are right, these four guys won't be arresting any other people, innocent or guilty, in the foreseeable future.
very next day after people say “the army will defend us from corrupt cops in a SHTF scenario” - which I refuted - this story comes along and vindicates my position.
CID is Criminal Investigation Division, btw - the army folks that investigate army crimes - that’s where these corrupt people were.
Bottom line is in a SHTF scenario you can’t trust anyone you don’t know. Which is a good reason to get to know some of your neighbors NOW.
Whatever happened to that Delta Force guy from Ft. Bragg who disappeared after reportedly killing a bunch of prostitutes? I remember hearing about him when I was a kid but never hear any more about it.
