The man behind Donald Trump's possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008.

Not only that, but Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who doubles as Trump's chief political adviser, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.

Aside from the idiotic birther issue, this is why I don't think that Donald is running.

The info in this article and other comments relative to Trump giving campaign contributions to Democrats have been used to offer the opinion that Trump is not running. There is no Nexus between the info/comments and Trump’s plans.

Rick Davis, who ran John McCain’s campaign, was pretty much paid by George Soros for a number of years. Rick Davis ran McCain’s Reason Institute....which received big $$$ from Soros and his Open Society group

Funny none of the media....Liberal and Liberal GOP...ever mentioned this

You have to wonder all these articles now trying to “discredit” Trump.

The two biggest groups in the GOP that are afraid of Trump are the Liberal Obama Supporters and the Liberal Free Trader Communists....the two groups that have the most to lose with a Trump campaign

No one got upset about McCain/Soros connections

In what way is this person behind Trump's possible presidential campaign? Did he put an idea in Trump's head that Trump did not come up with on his own? Is he the real brains behind any success Trump has had?

Sounds like a lot of nonsense thrown together to discredit Trump and not much more. I expect Trump makes up his own mind about most considerations.

That phony candidate has done more in the last 3 weeks to expose the fraud in the White House than the RNC/GOP and State run media have done in 3 years or ever.

True. Trump has caused tremendous damage to Obama, Democrats and the MSM. I don’t know if he’ll run but I for one appreciate what he has done.

I don’t care if he runs.

I want Obama gone.

He belongs in jail for the fraud he has pulled off on the USA

If Trump can hurt Obama ——great.

This is getting more bizarre. The guy voted for Obama and says flat out he feels Obama was born in Hawaii. Yet he’s Trump’s political guru.

As Trump would say, “Very strange.”

.

I love what he said last night on the ‘Judge Janine’ prog on Fox.
He said it’s insane to be giving billions of american taxpayer money to countries who hate us.
It’s insane not to have brought Osama to justice.
He said how could they lose a 6 ft tall Arab on dialysis?
Pakistan knows where he is. Threaten to cut off the millions we give them, and they will cough him up.
LOL

.

PUMA. The Hillary faction called themselves People United Means Action (Party Unity My Ass)! Gretta’s hubby was reportedly once one of top dogs during the 2008 primary campaign.

I have always thought this was from Hildebeast’s camp because of the incredible embarrassment she suffered on Obama’s waffling on the middle east, especially in the lead up to Libya. Check the timeline, She first brought up the BC issue during the primaries. The Donald makes waves on the BC issue right after she was refused an audience with the new regime of Egypt while she was in the neighborhood.

But, if he can manage to bring some transparency to the real history of this poser, then have at it. She will not be denied, again, in her mind. He knows how to get media attention and he is playing them like a fiddle. Who knows, maybe the media knows the deal as well. Why wouold they just pick it up if the Donald says so, when so many others with real credibility have been swept under the rug?

What is it about Trump that has your panties in such a wad? Give him his head. It is an eternity until the nominating process begins.

You seem panicked? - is everything OK?

So that means he should be the next GOP nominee? Have you even bothered to look into his political history? If you have, you'd know he's a crazier version of Romney.

I don't know of a single conservative, let alone republican, who is for universal healthcare. In fact, the tea party is vehemently AGAINST it. Yet, for some odd reason, Trump is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the Tea Party in Florida.

I haven't looked back to establish a time line, but Trump was speaking out and gaining a lot of attention for a couple of weeks with issues other than the BC. He started talking about the BC a couple of weeks ago and all attention since seems to focus there, and all the other issues he's raised are mostly ignored now.

But the birther issue was not what he spoke about during his first presidential rumblings. But, also, no one has raised that issue with as much energy and persistence as Trump has.

I'd take him over Romney and a few others. Yeah, I've looked to see. I know he's been all over the place. Time will tell if he's serious. I noticed Palin has swung back. Trump has provided an opportunity to take away that heat she would get. I also noticed that the media has called Trump another Palin. I've seen some wacky conspiracy theories about Trump floated around here: he's doing it to save Obama by inoculating him for 2012. LoL. You got to be kidding me.

Trump, not lately he's not. Trump wants ObotCare defeated.

I will say this here and now. I fear a 3rd Party candidacy from Trump. He has said he will consider it if he doesn't win the Republican nomination. If that turns out to be the case, he would be another Perot and assure an Obama win in 2012.
