All they need to do is to match SS#’s from state to state. Because people can get benefits in more than one state and never get caught.

“What possible reason could Obama have to turn this offer down?”

Maybe a Obama insider friend has been promised a contract that the IBM deal would eliminate. Think in Chicago politics deal terms.

It’s not about your well-being, cost savings or even health care. It’s about CONTROL.

Obamacare is nothing but the transfer of wealth and power to liberal bureaucrats.

When you understand this, everything else makes sense.

The last thing liberals want is to make anything more efficient or affordable, because there is no payoff for them.

They lose money and power when government is more efficient.

This is why they are rioting in Wisconsin or anywhere else where their incompetency is challenged.

I’m a bit skeptical that any program is going to save that kind of money. I’d like to know a lot more details.

Wesley Mouch wants the fraud in the system because it buys votes plus the added bennifit of putting the feelings of guilt on all who partake of the freebies.

Oh good grief! It's not making medical decisions. It's spotting fraud.

From the article;
Unscrupulous doctors billing for over 24 hours per day of procedures, phony companies invoicing for phantom services, pharmacists filling prescriptions for dead patients, home health-care companies demanding payment for treating clients actually in the hospital -- on and on the rip-offs go."

I’m not sure there’s nearly a trillion dollars of fraud — if there is, I’m worse at this medical finance stuff than I thought.

It's big.

CRIME DOES PAY When It Involves Medicare/Medicaid Fraud

Based on my research, 60 Billion Dollars per year is a conservative figure for Medicare fraud, and that doesn’t account for the massive Medicaid fraud that varies from state to state. In Florida, which I’ll quote as an example, adds countless millions/billions of dollars to the 60 Billion that is already suspected, and when you add in the costs of Medicaid fraud, it’s possible that the 60 Billion Dollar figure alleged on Medicare could rise to over a Hundred Billion Dollars of fraud alone on a national basis:

That is per year.

Virtually the first thing hospitals ask upon admission is the patient’s SSAN.

Obama is apparently neck deep in SSAN fraud.

So, progams like this can turn up frauds like Obama.

It makes a lot of sense for Obama to turn down IBM’s offer.

IBM exec offers to save $900 billion in health care costs, but ohbama turned him down

The CEO of IBM offered the ohbama administration a free software program that would have cut Medicare and Medicaid fraud by almost a trillion dollars, but he was turned down – twice.

"We could have improved the quality and reduced the cost of the healthcare system by $900 billion...I said we would do it for free to prove that it works. They turned us down, "IBM chairman and CEO Samuel Palmisano said during a Sept. 14, 2010 taping of the Wall Street Journal’s Viewpoints program.

Off topic; check out article, and # 30.

He is a Cloward-Piven disciple, which means to COLLAPSE the system to bring in a Communist government. This would have stopped fraudsters, illegals and miscreants from gaming tax dollars, which is the opposite of what the Left wants.

The hurt business to push more government, there is nothing strange about his intentions...none, when you understand his hardcore Marxist ideology.

This really makes obvious the question: Is either party really anxious to end the fraud?

spotting fraud

Righto. Just omit the "medical decisions", put the rest in bold, and post it to yourself as a reply.

Don't worry. The nice men with the smart computers will make everything OK.

This really makes obvious the question: Is either party really anxious to end the fraud?

I think the obvious question is, "is it really a conservative forum if nobody expresses concern about the centralized control of industries; if that abomination of liberty has been so swiftly accepted that the only concerns raised are regarding the cost of it's operation to that phantom player in the scheme, 'the taxpayer?'"

pardon me while I search for the real universe.

No... Obama knows precisely what he’s doing.

IBM is clueless.

You can express and search til your heart’s content but what you’ll have a tough time finding in any universe is the politician of either party with the sand to actually cut the fraud instead of just cutting the funds to Medicare/Medicaid.
