If Trump is rejected by GOP, he has every right to run as Independent. He does not need RNC money and has received not a penny from them. He does not OWE anything to ANYBODY.
But pay attention to “if he is rejected by GOP”. Which means his preference is to run on republican ticket.

You got it. Right now Trump is the Obama administration's best strategy for continued existence. I can only hope that he has, as someone else just said, peaked too soon.
