Several writers have noted the odd fact that the Libyan rebels took time out from their rebellion in March to create their own central bank - this before they even had a government. Robert Wenzel wrote in the Economic Policy Journal:
I have never before heard of a central bank being created in just a matter of weeks out of a popular uprising. This suggests we have a bit more than a rag tag bunch of rebels running around and that there are some pretty sophisticated influences.
Alex Newman wrote in the New American:
In a statement released last week, the rebels reported on the results of a meeting held on March 19. Among other things, the supposed rag-tag revolutionaries announced the "[d]esignation of the Central Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent in monetary policies in Libya and appointment of a Governor to the Central Bank of Libya, with a temporary headquarters in Benghazi."

When you are on the path to robbery it helps to try to have something to hide behind. What is better than a bogus bank, some of these people probably have an inheritance they need you help with in cashing their bank checks.

Which middle eastern contries have been attacked by the West? According to this author, only countries that have refused to cooperate with the IMF.

ALL wars are about money - absolutely nothing else.
I believe zer0’s wars are not about oil OR banking (other than destroying US banking). No, zer0’s wars are about moving the world to the left... towards sharia as a prior post opined, and towards marxism here and there (Honduras, middle-east, Kenya, etc).
Check into the gold bullion reserves that Ghaddaffi had in his BANK, that belonged to the personal stashes of the upper echelon in the US, Italy, France, etc. Ghaffadi’s wife tried to sneak some of it out of the country.
The minute that Libyans established this new bank, where the gold could be secured, all the coalition nations (like US, France, Italy) started ‘pulling out’.
We fired over 200 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. It wasn’t about the rebels, it was about the gold. It always is.
Yes, I agree with you, he is doing that. But it’s just a front for the bankers. They don’t care how they control people, just as long as it is they who do the controlling. And right now they’re using Islam, sharia, the liberals, etc. to maintain their control. When that stops working they’ll move on to something else.
You know, everything Obama has done as President has hurt the country. I understand we are still bombing in Libya, even though he says we aren’t. So for whatever reason, it can’t be good for America.
