SAN DIEGO The San Diego Sports Commission has confirmed that Michigan State and North Carolina will play in the Carrier Classic on Veterans Day, the first NCAA basketball game to be played aboard an aircraft carrier.
The commission, working with Morale Entertainment Foundation, says it has received written commitments from the two schools and that approval from the U.S. Navy is expected soon.
Organizers haven't announced which aircraft carrier will host the Nov. 11 game.

An aircraft carrier kept cool and comfy below decks by Carrier reciprocating chillers, no doubt.
Really hard to dribble with those tie-down points.
Heads up
I don't think they use recips. Anybody know for sure?
Could be turbo (centrifugal) chillers. I think the piston types are a little more rugged.
Cruise ships use centrifugal.
I’ll bet Roy shortens the layup drill.
Could be interesting if they have the carrier out at sea at the time!
Mich. St.? Yuck.

The only requirement for inclusion in the Navair Pinglist is an interest in Naval Aviation.
This is a medium to low volume pinglist.
Yeah, between non-skid and the ocean, who’s going to dive for an out of bounds ball?
