Sometimes the biggest and most “vehement” anti Communists, socialists, Ba’athist, Islamists whatever are those that came from those systems and/or cultures and were repulsed and disgusted by it. Often these types use their insight to destroy the enemy, i.e. as with the Nazi's in WWII (Many Germans that fled worked diligently to bring that regime down). Of course the other alternative is that they have misplaces loyalties and sympathize with the enemy or are confused on which side they stand, debating in their own head the philosophies of two mutually exclusive ideologies unsure about which one is virtuous and their own. There seldom is a middle ground with people like this. - IMHO
