Unknown columnists from small town papers (I posted one from Enid OK this morning) are getting national exposure writing about The Donald/Obama bout...and this is just the beginning.
You can only imagine how worried the WH is.
Trump loves the publicity (all publicity is good publicity) but it is killing Obama. And to make matters worse, there is nothing they can do to stop it. Even if Obama were to release his birth certificate, Trump would move on to the matter of his sealed transcripts or his drilling embargo or his Pakistan visit in college.
You're exactly right, as the Rezko comment proves. It's wonderful...the perfect storm. Obama is being Trump'd and America is the winner.
Not only that but Trump called for the impeachment of President Bush, so they can’t even dismiss him as a partisan hack.
The WH response to this is pretty inept if you ask me. Dismissing a billionaire like Trump is poking at the hornet’s nest if you ask me.
The alternative here that people need to be aware of is that he may in fact have the long forum waiting to throw out there when the time is right.
We should be prepared for the idea of a rope-a-dope on this birth certificate deal. Think about it. If he really does have his long forum, why would he show his birth certificate now? The press is letting him get away with it? Anyone who questions Obama’s legitimacy up until now has been discredited as a kook or a raciest or both by the press. Right now, it’s a really easy way to have the press discredit your opponents for you. Why wouldn’t you hang on to it until the point to which it’s an issue that begins to hurt and then pull out the birth certificate? Then think of how sympathetic he’ll look to the general electorate. I’m just saying it’s something people need to think about.
