Why would she ‘turn birther’ now? Could it be that she now sees serious money available for serious research on the issue? Beforehand, anyone raising the issue was smothered by money and the media with little chance of success. It is a different situation now, with Trump’s resources.

She’s not turning birther necessarily, she said that Obama was born in Hawaii but that Donald has a right to spend his money to dig up something that obviously Obama is trying to hide, he spent 2 million dollars keeping people from seeing it, she said many are curious why he is do so........

Now, why would you go and hurl an insult like that at someone who has steadfastly opposed Obama from the very outset? Trump is actually late to the party. Sarah Palin has been taking it to Obama relentlessly, when no one else on the right had the guts or intestinal fortitude to do so.

Palin has not ‘turned birther’. She is merely applauding the individual pursuing their own thing as long as they are not hurting innocents and using their own money/resources. Plus the fact that Trump is willing to actually put his money where his mouth is in searching for the truth; not just ‘throwing stones from the sidelines’. Palin said she was not doubting o being born in HI, but there could be something he is trying to hide by spending a couple of million dollars.
