Future 'Tax Hikes' Are on the Table

Plan from day one. Why do you think the "stimulus" was a government spending plan instead of a tax cut? Because the Socialists want every excuse for tax hikes. The multi-trillion dollar deficit is a deliberate Obama-Socialist result to pressure higher taxes.

So what else is new?

What's the answer? Lower taxes, repeal ObamaCare, cut government, and impeach the Impostor-In-Chief.

The RATS have increased Fed spending massively, and now it is time to TAX the citizens who put this moron into the White House and Piglosi into the Speaker ship (where all this spending originated in earnest).

The answer my friend is that once again, we’ll be hit, and the people who don’t pay any taxes will laugh all the more for screwing us without being kissed.

“... tax hikes for the wealthy ...”

That tactic has failed every time it’s been tried. How about tax hikes for the underachievers ? How about we change the AMT so it really does what it says - ensures everybody pays some “minimum tax”, like 10% of AGI ?

“You mean like GE ?”

You mean GE’s profits should be taxed at 35%, and then again at another 35% when the same money is passed along to the shareholders ? Or maybe GE should just raise its prices on kitchen appliances and jet engines so it can hand money over to the government and still leave the owners of the company with a few bucks ? Taxes on corporations are just sneaky ways for the government to tax the little guy through price increases in everything they buy. Corporate lobbying is simple self defense. Abolish the corporate income tax and lobbying and corruption in DC would be cut in half.

Exactly. No corporation should pay an income tax. They get their money from their customers. To pay a tax just means they have to charge more for their products. So they are not really “paying” a tax but simply “collecting” it and then forwarding it to the government. Corporate taxes are a sneaky way for the government to tax the customers.

GE has a market cap of $211B. If their annual profit was $5B it would equal a 2.6% return on investment for the shareholders. That’s nothing. I would never invest my money for a 2.6% rate of return.

Would you be happy to see GE add $50 to the price of every kitchen appliance it sells just so it can pay the government a tax ? That’s loony. Foreign makers like LG and Bosch would take all their customers and GE would shut down. That’s how manufacturing in America dies.
