Graham Hancock is right, for a civilization that spouts so much about freedom, the west certainly spends a lot of time curtailing personal choice.

generally these scams involve voluntary charges and then they add on a few extra just for kicks.

So the guy buys a $500 bottle of champagne and they charge him for two. He’s either too drunk to notice or wants to keep it quiet, so he doesn’t fight the charges.

Are you advocating for B-Girls to be free to make fraudulent charges on other people's credit cards if they want to?

As a young guy (19 yo) I met an old timer Cowboy in a Wyoming bar - 72 yo. We bought each other a few drinks. Soon several young gals came by our table and chatted. The old guy would buy them drinks and off they would go. After the drinks were finished they would return, flirt, etc. and he would buy them another round.

After the second time I said “Why do you do that? They’re just using you.”

He said something to the effect of “At my age, gettin’ a yound gal to talk with you STILL means something, even if it costs me a few drinks.”

Correction a $5000 bottle. Oh and they also forged the guys signature in some cases.

But its all about “curtailing personal choice”, right?

Defrauding people is not a personal choice. Are the men stupid - yes. Do they deserve to be robbed? No.

The problem is not the fraud, that is the result. The problem is a gov. that feels it needs to step on free enterprise. It brings about inflation and stifles the willingness of those caught in situations like this from reporting it. Be it drugs or companionship, the gov needs to get out of the way.

I don’t know? It’s like the guy complaining after losing all his money in a slot machine. Hey! You knew what it was when you walked up to it!

Getting robbed is the tax you pay on being stupid.

No, but they walked into a place to spend money gambling they would score.Look, I am not sayin it’s right but both parties are wrong. Most carnival games are rigged for you to lose, everyone knows it but people still play em.Then we have to think about entertainment value. Yeah, it might be expensive but I bet they had one hell of an entertaing night.

If go to South Beach you do not need $5k to score and there is no gambling involved.

They paid $5k to flirt with hot women. Those hot women were thieves.
