Colonel Gaddafi appeals to 'our son' Barack Obama to tell Nato to lay off
by Reporter, Daily Mirror 7/04/2011
COLONEL Gaddafi yesterday made a direct appeal to Barack Obama to halt an unjust war against Libya.
He also wished the US President good luck in the next election.
In a rambling, three-page letter littered with errors, Gaddafi implored Obama to stop the Nato-led air campaign against a small people of a developing country.
And he told him: You are in a position to keep Nato off the Libyan affair for good.
Gaddafi said democracy could not be built by bombing, and insisted Libya should be left to Libyans within the African union.
Saying he bore Obama no ill will, Gaddafi concluded: You will always remain our son.

Jokes aside, I hate it when America is in a position where an insane maniac in some other country can pwn our President. No matter what I personally think of Obama, I don’t like seeing American leaders shamed by foreign leaders like this.
Absolutely agree with you. I’m appalled that a tyrant thug can do this with impunity. What an embarrassment for the United States. He knows he can get away with that with the weak bastard in the WH.
“Luke, I am your father.”
We have not seen any wardrobe updates on the good Colonel.
Snappy dresser that he is...one wonders what choices he has made for this bit of rebellion?
I still can not understand why both the US and NATO were so eager to get involved in the popular uprising in Libya, whereas for 20+ years NOTHING was done to stop, or even slow down, the systematic islamic massacres of the people of Dar Fur and South Sudan.
Anyone?
Muslims consider Obama as one of their family, forever, and as a son of Africa, not American.
Has anyone seen this historic letter that put an end to this war?
I will remember that.
