I am a little uncomfortable with this claim for two reasons. Why call it Judeo-Christian when in reality it is Christian? The Judeo-Christian part came to appease Jewish people who were persecuted in Europe and were anxious to fit in. Secondly, much of Europe and the West is based on Christian culture, but America alone stands for liberty. My main opposition to Europe and Latin America is that they hate us.

Probably because the “Christian” part is rooted in the “Judeo” part. Our Savior is a Jew.

The values in the NT & OT are the same.

The NT just gets to the point quicker and spells it out clearer :-)

“Why call it Judeo-Christian when in reality it is Christian?”

Christianity is essentially - from its beginnings - a Jewish “cult.”

Christ was a Jew as were all the apostles. And while Luke was a gospel writer and a gentile, he was not an apostle. He was Paul’s fellow-traveler.

The name “Christian” (originally pronounced Christ-eee-an) - first used in Antioch - was originally a term of derision used to taunt Jewish believers.
