President Obama formally launched his re-election campaign Monday, urging grass-roots supporters central to his first White House run to mobilize again to protect the change he's brought over the past two years.
The official start of his second White House bid comes 20 months before the November 2012 election.

I don’t remember who posted it, but a poster on a different thread came up with a great slogan for this run which is as follows:
“This time we will do a better job of explaining things to you stupid voters.”
That one will win the hearts and minds of those of us who cannot tolerate four more years of this token race-baiter.

I heard that one of the New England states adopted the law but declared that it would go into effect after the 2012 elections because they did not want to make it look like they were targeting the usurper in chief.

Let me express this in allegoric terms.
0bama announcing his reelection bid is precisely like having stepped in dog excrement with your left foot, you start hopping on your right foot to inspect the bottom of your left and you hop with your right into an even bigger, steaming pile.
Glad he finally announced his run. It is now open season for an honest critique on his policies and his attitude toward voters in general. We can now talk about Barry as a person - and that can’t bode well for him. (Although the press will be quick to condemn any critique of “the One” as racism.) He would have been better off to have left it alone as long as possible. Of course, I keep forgetting that the one thing Barry is good at is campaigning. The only problem for him is the old adage, “Fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice, shame on me.”
All we need is just ONE state legislature and governor with the guts to pass a law requiring candidates submit documentation proving they are constitutionally qualified to be president and this destructive bum would be out of business.
But it doesn’t look as if there is even one state government out of fifty that cares enough about the constitution and the idea of having an honest man in the White House to pass such a law.
I’ll make an early predictions:
1) Obama beats Romney 45% to 44% with Trump grabbing 9%.
2) Trumps 9% comes from a bunch of know nothing independents.
3) The media along with democrat infiltrators push Romney into the GOP nomination barely ahead of the Tea Party backed Herman Cain.
4) Even with Pressure from conservatives to select Cain as VP , Romney instead selects Lindsey Graham as running mate.
5) Obama despite George Bush/Jimmy Carter like poll numbers NEVER loses his base and his 1 billion dollar war chest is able to pull him through in a squeaker in the general election. He is unchallenged in by the dems. Hillary silently fumes.
6) Conservatives are furious at a Romney nomination but many hold their nose, look the other direction and vote for him. Others more sit out.
7) Palin does not run. Instead, helps Tea Party/Conservatives increase Congress hold and retakes Senate.
8) GOP divisions split party in 2013.
9) Trump becomes a contestant on Who Wants to Be Obama’s new VP in 2013.
10) Depression 2.0 continues in 2103.
And WTF.
...on a tidbit of insider infomation, TOTUS has announce he will be retiring before the end of the month to spend more time with his family. Seems the traveling and constant administration barbs and backhanded compliments that were directed at him by White Hut insiders that needed someone to blame, fell on him and he’s has had enough...
There may be some truth to the rumor that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and TOTUS have plan duel announcements with the Secretary taking the lead as to limit the amount of questions TOTUS would be subject to......more to follow
