Sounds good, in theory. I’m all for a flat tax, particularly getting rid of tax loopholes for business and mortgages. But getting rid of tax exemptions for all “public interest groups” and charities, including churches, would be politically impossible.
It seems that cutting any more than $33B out of $1.4Trillion deficit is also politically impossible, so I believe you.
