It’s time for Snowe to melt.
Given that her problem with the bill was so small, I doubt that she could have withstood the pressure from the NY Times if they needed her vote. I hope very much she is defeated in the primary.

Snowe - like McCain - knows how to survive. I don’t like her, but who is the viable Tea Party/constitutionalist alternative?
Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine is NO damned “moderate”.
Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine is a damned RINO piece of crap.
Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine should be thrown out like yesterdays n.y. times.
I agree
Snow will not be defeated by a tea party member, but a democrat will win if Snow looses the primary.
I’ll take a moderate Republican, over a democrat anytime.
The Tea Party think the run the whole show, they don’t, they can be spoilers in 2012.
I hope they pick the right races.
JMHO
Nothing wrong with ACTUAL Moderate Republicans who vote with us 75% of the time from more Dem-leaning states. The problem is with LIBERAL Republicans who oppose us over 75% of the time. Snowe is not a “Moderate” and has moved well to the left the longer she’s been in office (which will be 34 years come 2012).
Are you reading this, Santorum?
Bring on the snowe shovel!
